I went on a pilgrimage to Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Longmont which is one of the 8 pilgrimage sites for the 2013 Year of Faith in the Archdiocese of Denver.
My Year of Faith Pilgrimage Passport said that I had to
say three prayers there and then find a statue of St. Mary that is over four feet tall.
The statue was not in the church itself, but
I found it in the corner of the basement parish center. The office lady said that the statue comes
from Viet Nam and is made of teak wood.
