Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who announced his
run for president several weeks back, explains why he voted against
Manchin-Toomey and how the Constitution trumps public opinion. Interviewed at
the NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits in Nashville, Tennessee on April 10,
2015.
Watch how Ted
Cruz handles this interviewer who tries to trip him up on his Second Amendment
stance. The reporter attempts to corner Cruz, starting off with a
question about background checks, and then references public opinion polls.

prospective Cruz interviewers; good luck trying to outwit a candidate that even
uber-liberal Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz ranks amongst his brightest
students, and who rose to his position as Senator on the momentum of the tea
party wave.
