In
2004, New York Times Journalist Richard Poe wrote an exposé of
billionaire George Soros' plans for America, published in NewsMax
Magazine. His article has been quoted countless times over the
last 11 ½ years. Soros has dedicated his billions to bringing down America. As
you read, remember that the figures in this article are outdated. Soros' net
worth, $7 billion in 2004, is $24.5 billion in 2015. Multiply the numbers to
get a picture of how Soros is influencing the political and public policy
landscape today. Soros will spend multiplied millions to defeat conservative
and Christian candidates in the next 13 months and to support candidates who
share his worldview. Soros, an 85 year old avowed atheist, has little time to
repent. While we pray for his salvation, let us pray that God will defeat his
evil plans for America (see Human Events' short 2011
article, Top Ten Reasons George Soros is
Dangerous).
One of the World's Richest Men is attempting to
influence the U.S. presidential election this year. His net worth is at least
[$24.5 Billion]. He reportedly controls additional billions in assets through
his investment funds. His foundations give away millions each year. He [bought]
the 2004 presidential election for the Democrats. He [talked] openly of driving
President Bush from office and of forcing "regime change" in the
United States. He says he might even spend his whole fortune to make this
happen. He has likened himself to the Messiah. George Soros means business…
Soros' words should not be taken lightly… the [85]-year-old
speculator in global currency has gone belly to belly against some of the
world's mightiest nations, risking billions in daredevil, do-or-die contests of
financial power. He has won such battles before. He stands a good chance of
winning this one [and he did ultimately enable Barak Obama's ascent].
He has reportedly pumped at least $35 million [in 2004] into the
Democrats' campaign and vows to raise a total of $95 million [2004] through a
network of "Section 527″ front groups designed to circumvent the
McCain-Feingold ban on "soft money" contributions to political
parties. The Federal Election Commission places no limits on donations to the
shadowy 527s and requires no disclosure of the donors and the amounts they have
given. Consequently, no one really knows how much money Soros has lavished — or
will — on the Democrats [the Citizens United Decision allows him much greater
latitude today]…
Radical Agenda - Meanwhile, Soros' private
philanthropy, totaling nearly $5 billion [2004], continues undermining
America's traditional Western values. His giving has provided funding of
abortion rights, atheism, drug legalization, sex education, euthanasia,
feminism, gun control, globalization, mass immigration, gay marriage and [many]
other radical experiments in social engineering. What drives George Soros? …
And what about our country offends him so deeply that he would tell a British
newspaper, during a time of war that he wants to "puncture the bubble of
American supremacy"? (Richard Poe, 2004, NewsMax
Magazine, read the rest of the lengthy but very helpful article,
archived HERE; Bracketed Items
added).
Soros
is the primary supporter and driver of Media Matters, MoveOn.org, and Center for American Progress, all
left wing orgs that advocate for Soros' broadly anti-Christian agenda.
