Trappist Beer Now Made in the USA - Drink Spencer Beer

"Delightfully bitter!"

11/01/14 - The world has seen the birth of a new trappist beer. Spencer is the name, and it's only the 10th trappist beer ever. However, it's the first to be brewed outside Europe, in the United States, in Spencer Abbey near Boston. The monks were helped by the Belgian specialists; Belgium is the home of 7 of the world's 10 trappist beers. The VRT sent its U.S. correspondent to Spencer Abbey to take a look.
