The questions in the following article lead me to wonder how a person on a Fulbright Scholarship as a foreign student became a millionaire on a $12,000/year job as a community organizer???????
This
election has me very worried. So many things to consider. McCain was a Washington insider and we dont need any more of
them. I have changed my mind three times, since then. I watch all
the news channels, jumping from one to another. I must say this drives my
husband crazy. But, I feel if you view CNN, and Fox News, you might get
some middle ground to work with. I started thinking "where does all
the money come from for President Obama"? I have four daughters who
went to College, and we were middle class, and money was tight. We
(including my girls) worked hard and there were lots of student loans. I
started looking into Obama's history for my own peace of mind.
Around 1979 Obama started college at
Occidental in California . He is very open about his two years at
Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even
though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies.
"Barry" (that was the name he used all his life) during this time had
two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan
. During the summer of 1981, after his second year in college, he made a
"round the world" trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia
, next Hyderabad in India , three weeks in Karachi , Pakistan where he stayed
with his roommate's family, then off to Africa to visit his father's family.
My question - Where did he get the
money for this trip? Nether I, nor any one of my children would have had
money for a trip like this when they were in college. When he came back
he started school at Columbia University in New York . It is at this time
he wants everyone to call him Barack - not Barry. Do you know what the
tuition is at Columbia ? It's not cheap to say the least. My girls
asked me; where did he get money for tuition? Student Loans? Maybe
its none of my business?
After Columbia , he went to Chicago
to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000. a year. Why Chicago ?
Why not New York ? He was already living in New York . By
"chance" he met Antoin "Tony" Rezko, born in Aleppo Syria ,
and a real estate developer in Chicago . Rezko has been convicted of
fraud and bribery several times in the past and in 2011. Rezko, was named
"Entrepreneur of the Decade" by the Arab-American Business and
Professional Association". About two years later, Obama entered
Harvard Law School . Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law
School ? Where did he get the money for Law School ? More student
loans? His family has no money thats for sure.
After Law school, he went back to
Chicago . Rezko offered him a job, which he turned down. But, he
did take a job with Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland. Guess what I
discovered? They represented "Rezar" which is Rezko's
firm. Rezko was one of Obama's first major financial contributors when he
ran for office in Chicago . In 2003, Rezko threw an early fundraiser for
Obama which Chicago Tribune reporter David Mendelland claims was instrumental
in providing Obama with "seed money" for his U.S. Senate race.
In 2005, Obama purchased a new home
in Kenwoood District of Chicago for $1.65 million (less than asking
price). With ALL those Student Loans - Where did he get the money for
this property? On the same day Rezko's wife, Rita, purchased the
adjoining empty lot for full price. The London Times reported that Nadhmi
Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before
Obama's new home was purchased. Obama met Nadhmi Auchi many times with
Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for
President. Valerie Jarrett, was Michele Obama's boss. She is now
Obama's chief advisor and he does not make any major decisions without talking
to her first. Where was Jarrett born? Ready for this? Shiraz
, Iran ! Am I going nuts or is there a pattern here?
On May 10, 2008, The Times reported,
Robert Malley advisor to Obama was "sacked" after the press found out
he was having regular contacts with "Hamas", which controls Gaza and
is connected with Iran . This past week, buried in the back part of the
papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that during Obama's visit to Iraq , he asked
their leaders to do nothing about the war until after he is elected, and he
will "Take care of things". What the heck does that mean?
Oh, and by the way, remember the
college roommates that were born in Pakistan ? They are in charge of all
those "small" Internet campaign contribution for Obama. Where
is that money coming from? The poor and middle class in this
country? Or could it be from the Middle East ?
And the final bit of news. On
September 7, 2009, The Washington Times posted a verbal slip that was made on
"This Week" with George Stephanopoulos. Obama on talking about
his religion said, "My Muslim faith". When questioned, "he
make a mistake". Some mistake huh?

Obama's Threats
Did
you notice who Obama threatened when he wasn't getting his way on raising the
debt ceiling?
He threatened to not pay:
Social Security Retirees, Military Retirees, Social Security disability and Federal Retirees.
Now.. Let this sink in really good -
He did not threaten to stop payments to illegal aliens, he did not threaten to take frivolous benefits such as Internet access away from violent inmates.
He did not offer to fire some of the thousands of unnecessary federal employees that he hired.
He did not offer to cut down on his or his wife's frivolous gallivanting around.They went to Hawaii for 17 days over Christmas 2011.
He did not threaten to not pay the senators and representatives or any of their staff.
He did not threaten to take benefits away from welfare recipients.
He did not threaten the food stamp programs.
He did not threaten to not pay foreign aid.
He did not threaten to cut back on anything that involves his base voters.
The list could go on and on.. He is in full political re-election mode!
* Why are we allowing this person to destroy this wonderful country with his selfishness and his lies?

May Be In Deep Trouble...with Chief Justice John Roberts, U.S. Supreme

According to sources who watch the inner workings of the
federal government, a smack-down of Barack Obama by the U.S. Supreme
Court may be inevitable.
Ever since Obama assumed the office of President, critics
have hammered him on a number of Constitutional issues. Critics have
complained that much, if not all of Obama's major initiatives run
headlong into Constitutional roadblocks on the power of the federal
government. Obama certainly did not help himself in the eyes of the
Court when he used the venue of the State of the Union address early
in the year to publicly flog the Court over its ruling that the First
Amendment grants the right to various organizations to run political
ads during the time of an election. The tongue-lashing clearly did not
sit well with the Court, as demonstrated by Justice Sam Alito, who
publicly shook his head and stated under his breath, 'That's not
true,' when Obama told a flat-out lie concerning the Court's ruling.
As it has turned out, this was a watershed moment in the relationship
between the executive and the judicial branches of the federal
government. Obama publicly declared war on the court, even as he
blatantly continued to propose legislation that flies in the face of
every known Constitutional principle upon which this nation has stood
for over 200 years.
Obama has even identified Chief Justice John Roberts as
his number one enemy, that is, apart from Fox News and Rush Limbaugh,
Beck, Hannity, and so on. And it is no accident that the one
swing-vote on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, stated recently
that he has no intention of retiring until 'Obama is gone.'
Apparently, the Court has had enough. The Roberts Court has signaled,
in a very subtle manner, of course, that it intends to address the
issues about which Obama critics have been screaming to high heaven. A
ruling against Obama on any one of these important issues could
potentially cripple the Administration. Such a thing would be long
overdue.
First, there is ObamaCare, which violates the
Constitutional principle barring the federal government from forcing
citizens to purchase something. And no, this is not the same thing as
states requiring drivers to purchase car insurance, as some of the
intellectually-impaired claim. The Constitution limits the FEDERAL
government, not state governments, from such things, and further, not
everyone has to drive, and thus, a citizen could opt not to purchase
car insurance by simply deciding not to drive a vehicle. In the
ObamaCare world, however, no citizen can 'opt out.'
Second, sources state that the Roberts court has quietly
accepted information concerning discrepancies in Obama's history that
raise serious questions about his eligibility for the office of President. The charge goes far beyond the birth certificate issue. This information involves possible fraudulent use of a Social Security number in Connecticut, while Obama was a high school student in Hawaii .
And that is only the tip of the iceberg.
Third, several cases involving possible criminal activity, conflicts of interest, and pay-for-play cronyism could potentially land many Administration officials, if not Obama himself, in hot water with the Court. Frankly, in the years this writer has observed politics, nothing comes close to comparing with the rampant corruption of this Administration, not even during the Nixon years. Nixon and the Watergate conspirators look like choirboys compared to the jokers that populate this Administration.
In addition, the Court will eventually be forced to rule on the dreadful decision of the Obama DOJ suing the state of Arizona. That, too, could send the Obama doctrine of open borders to an early grave, given that the Administration refuses to enforce federal law on illegal aliens.
And finally, the biggie that could potentially send the entire house of cards tumbling in a free-fall is the latest revelation concerning the Obama-Holder Department of Justice and its refusal to pursue the New Black Panther Party. The group was caught on tape committing felonies by attempting to intimidate Caucasian voters into staying away from the polls. A whistle-blower who resigned from the DOJ is now charging Holder with the deliberate refusal to pursue cases against Blacks, particularly those who are involved in radical
hate-groups, such as the New Black Panthers, who have been caught on
tape calling for the murder of white people and their babies. This one is a biggie that could send the entire Administration crumbling--that is, if the Justices have the guts to draw a line in the sand at the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

He is a President that had a super majority in both houses until last November. And because of that he jammed pork barrel projects and spending of every kind of an entitlement bill one can't imagine along with Obama Care down our throats with spending that is unattainable.
He is borrowing 42 cents on every dollar we owe and spend, wake up

It was inevitable.
Mitt Romney’s campaign has used a
money advantage to shut out the competition. As I said when he won Ohio, Romney
will be the nominee.
The way forward for Romney depends on
the economy. For the longest time I did not think he had much of a shot against
the President, but as I’ve said several times recently, the economy seems to be
struggling, which gives Romney an opening.
Between a struggling economy and a
President who wants to have it both ways in rhetoric and in practice wants to
side with those hostile to the idea of American exceptionalism, Romney has an
opening if he’ll aggressively take it.
If I may be so bold, I think the
greatest thing Karl Rove or Reince Priebus or Mitt Romney or any outside group
could do right now is introduce the American Public to what I’ve started doing
on my radio show: recounting the amazing adventures of President Both Ways.

I've
been asked the "do you have guns in your house?" question at the
doctor's office. I was shocked but said that I didn't believe that question was
relevant to the reason I was there. The person that asked just said
"that's fine" and continued on to the next inane question.
This comes from a good and trusted friend, but I do not know of its validity. It is offered here for your perusal and your thoughts.

for what should have been an overnight stay the insurance company kicked me out.
I had home nurse visits for two weeks and was asked if I had guns in the house.
I respond that if I did I would not tell them. So the below has some merit.
FYI, I am passing this along...there are comments from two other people I have
also been asked if we keep guns in the house. The nurse just kinda slipped it in
along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused to answer
because it was against the law to ask.
Everyone, whether you have guns or not, should give a neutral answer so they
have no idea who does and who doesn't. My doctor asked me if I had guns in my
house and also if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions.
Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son,
who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised
me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.
The Government now requires these questions be asked of people on Medicare, and
probably everyone else.
Just passing this along for your information: I had to visit a doctor other than
my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation. One of the questions on the
form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your house?? My answer was
None of your business!!
So it is out there! It is either an insurance issue or government intervention.
Either way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your medical
records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue and will
ultimately result in lock and load!!

law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians,
what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama
administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners
potential terrorists. Whether you are a gun owner, veteran or not, YOU"VE BEEN
WARNED !

Brutal Week for Obama

The past seven brutal days will go down as one of the worst weeks
in history for a sitting president. It certainly has been, without any doubt,
the worst week yet for President Obama.
Somehow, Mr. Obama managed to embarrass himself abroad, humiliate
himself here at home, see his credentials for being elected so severely
undermined that it raises startling questions about whether he should have been
elected in the first place — let alone be re-elected later this year.
Consider:
• Last Friday, Mr. Obama wandered into the killing of Trayvon Martin. Aided by his ignorance of
the situation, knee-jerk prejudices and quick-draw racial profiling, Mr.
Obama played a heavy hand in elevating a tragic situation in which a teenager
was killed into a full-blown hot race fight.
Americans, he admonished, need to do some “soul-searching.” And
then, utterly inexplicably, he veered off into this bizarre tangent about how
he and the poor dead kid look so much alike they could be father and son. It
was election-year race-pandering gone horribly wrong.
• By the start of this week, Mr. Obama had fled town and was
racing to the other side of the planet just as the Supreme Court was taking up the
potentially-embarrassing matter of Obamacare. While in South Korea he was caught on a hidden mic
negotiating with the president of our longest-standing rival on how to sell
America and her allies down the river once he gets past the next election.
• Meanwhile, back at home, the Supreme Court took up the single most
important achievement of Mr. Obama’s presidency and, boy, was it embarrassing.
The great constitutional law professor, it turns out, may not quite be the
wizard he told us he was.
By
most accounts, Mr. Obama and his stuttering lawyers were all but laughed out of
the courthouse. They were even stumbling over
softball questions lobbed by Mr. Obama’s own hand-picked justices.
•
Mr. Obama closed his week pulling off a nearly unimaginable feat: He managed to
totally and completely unify the nastily-fighting Democrats and Republicans in
Congress. Late Wednesday night, they unanimously voted — 414 to zip — to reject
the budget Mr. Obama had presented, leaving him not even a thin lily’s blade to
hide behind.
So,
in one week, Mr. Obama got caught whispering promises to our enemy, incited a
race war, raised serious questions about his understanding of the Constitution,
and then got smacked down over his proposed budget that was so wildly reckless
that even Democrats in Congress could not support it.
It
was as if you lumped Hurricane Katrina and the Abu Ghraib abuses into one week
for George W. Bush. And added on top of that
the time he oddly groped German Chancellor Angela Merkel and got caught cursing
on a hot mic.
Even
then, it wouldn’t be as bad as Mr. Obama’s week. You would probably also have
to toss in the time Mr. Bush’s father threw up into the lap
of Japan’s prime minister. Only then might we be approaching how bad a week it
was for Mr. Obama.
Not
that you will see any trace of embarrassment in the face of Mr. Obama. He has
mastered the high political art of shamelessness, wearing it smugly and
cockily. Kind of like a hoodie.

Basing their hypothesis on a passage of the Venerable St. Bede, some Protestants claim that the northern European Christians adopted the name Easter from the name of a pagan goddess: "Eastre" in Anglo-Saxon; "Eostre" in Northumbrian. She is also the infamous Ashtorah of the Old Testament, the one for whom poles were erected as signs of fertility. The Hebrew prophets spilled much ink condemning the the cult of Ashtorah (cf. Isaiah 17:8, 27:9, Jereimiah 17:2, Micah 5:14).
The name "Eastre" or "Eostre" comes from the proto Indo-European root "aus/eas" meaning "to shine" and "the east" (since the sun shines from the east). Our word "east" clearly derives from this root. Likewise, the word Austria comes from the same Indo-European root since it is the kingdom of the east or the "austra".
The Catholic Church does not formally call the feast "Easter" but rather "Pascha" - a word derived from the Aramaic word for "Passover". Only English and Germanic lands use the term related to "Easter".
Some well-meaning apologist claim that Easter comes from the Anglo-Saxon word "oster", meaning "to rise". This would be a convenient etymology since it avoids the pagan connotations. Instead, it connects the word to Christ rising from the dead.
I favor a third explanation. The Anglo-Saxons called the Spring equinox "Eostre". It was a astronomical description. Since pagans ceremoniously celebrate astronomical events as holy days, the natural phenomenon (the spring equinox as a "shining") and the religious feast (the goddess of fertility and light, Ashtorah) were indistinguishable.
Anglo-Saxons didn't borrow the name of a goddess for the feast of Christ's resurrection. They simply denoted it by the name of the natural phenomenon (the spring equinox which they called "Eostre"), since the festival is calculated by using marking the spring equinox. It happens that the name of the goddess and the name of the feast are etymologically connected. This would confirm the exact context of Bede's words:
"Eostur-month, which is now interpreted as the paschal month, was formerly named after the goddess Eostre, and has given its name to the festival."
This doesn't mean that paganism was baptized or that the newly Christianized people were still devoted to the goddess Eostre. Think about it, we still speak of "Thursday" but that doesn't mean that we really think of it as "Thor's day." Rather, the old day names remained without their religious content. The same goes for "Easter" as the name of the spring equinox - the name remained but the goddess did not. Anyone who claims that Catholics worship "Eostre" for saying "Easter" should have the tables turned on him and then be accused of worshiping "Thor" for saying "Thursday."

women.... And it's been going on for decades.
Our friend Steven Mosher first
discovered this war on women in China three decades ago. Steven was a Stanford
University Ph.D. student doing graduate research in rural China. ... What he
discovered was that Chinese women got no choice. If they had a second child --
an 'illegal' child -- these women could be rounded up, thrown in the back of a
two-ton truck, and carted off to the local infirmary. There, they could even be
held down and forcibly aborted. ... With such brutal policies in effect limiting
Chinese couples to only one child, the rural Chinese felt further pressure to
make sure that child was a boy. That's because sons are the only social 'safety
net' for hundreds of millions of Chinese. ...
President Obama would have us
believe that there is some kind of war on women, just in time for his
re-election effort. But he is the one who made sure that China's monstrous
population effort would be fully supported by the UN Fund for Population Activities
(UNFPA). Two days after assuming power, President Obama revoked the Reagan-era
Mexico City policy of the previous administration. He forces us to fund
international Planned Barrenhood. That means that the world-wide war on baby
girls will go forward, with U.S. taxpayers footing part of the bill."

The Art of Lying
"One of the highly developed
talents of President Barack Obama is the ability to say things that are
demonstrably false, and make them sound not only plausible but inspiring. ...
Now there are different kinds of liars. If we must have lying Presidents of the
United States, I prefer that they be like Richard Nixon. You could just look at
him and tell that he was lying.
But Obama is much smoother. On
this and on many other issues, you would have to know what the facts are to
know that he is lying. He is obviously counting on the fact that, in this era
of dumbed-down education, many people have no clue as to what the facts are. He
is also counting on something else -- namely, that the pro-Obama media will not
expose his lies.
One of the many ways of lying smoothly
is to simply redefine words. Barack Obama is a master at that as well. ...
It would be hard to become
nostalgic about Richard Nixon, who was forced to resign in disgrace. But at
least you could tell when he was lying. Obama's lies are just as big but not as
visible, and the media that exposed Nixon is covering for Obama."

Obama Plays Politics with our Laws
"In 1996 Congress passed the
Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) by huge bipartisan votes -- 342 to 67 in the
House and 85 to 14 in the Senate. President Bill Clinton signed the measure
into law. Now, the Obama administration says DOMA, which permits states
to refuse to recognize gay marriages from other states and also creates a
federal definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, is
unconstitutional.
... 'I'm confident that the
Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step
of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically
elected Congress,' Obama said Monday about the arguments over Obamacare before
the nation's highest court. The danger presented in the health care case, the
president continued, is that 'an unelected group of people would somehow
overturn a duly constituted and passed law.'
... If the president was so
concerned about a court overturning a duly constituted law passed by a
democratically elected Congress, why was he urging a small group of unelected judges
to strike down DOMA, a measure that won passage by a far greater margin than
Obamacare? The answer is, of course, that the administration is making a
political argument for its positions, not a legal one.

over Obamacare and DOMA has revealed the flexibility of the administration's
arguments over constitutionality. And the flap over Obama's remarks is just a
preview of what is coming when the court issues its decision on Obamacare this
