Movie and television character actor, Bill McKinney, died at age
80 on December 1, 2011 in San Fernando, California of esophagus cancer.
He delivered one of the best lines in the Clint Eastwood
classic, “The Outlaw Josey Wales,” when his character, Red Legs, was told to
stop chasing and trying to kill Josey Wales, and he replied, “Doing right ain’t
got no end!”
He was best known for delivering the greatest line in any movie,
when he played the hillbilly in the movie “Deliverance” who said, “Squeal like
a pig!”
