Marlin Firearms Closing Its Doors

Even if you do not own a gun you need to know this. I checked this out on "Truth or Fiction" who verified it. I trust them more than Snopes.

Marlin Firearms is already closing its doors! They are doing it to us, America! This needs to be spread to all gun owners and sportsmen/women. We cannot rely on the media to inform us of these types of matters.

Something you may not know that Is happening ... Who is buying the companies manufacturing guns??? For the last several years a company called The Freedom Group has been buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are Bushmaster, Marlin, Remington, DPMS, Dakota Arms and H&R. Some people worry that this Freedom Group is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States. If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stop selling to civilians.

What a perfect way to control guns. Now if you do some digging you will see that The Freedom Group is owned by a company called Cerberus Capital Management. Guess who controls Cerberus??? GEORGE SOROS, Obama's chief financier!! He wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns. Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come out. Why have we not heard about this in the "mainstream" media? I would think this would be BIG news. (Soros also owns Progressive Insurance). If you don't know who George Soros is, you need to do some research. This One-World Government atheist backed Obama with millions of dollars and Obama is a puppet on a string controlled by Soros.

Only One Group Can Afford to Buy A New Car - Guess Who

“ . . . CNBC reported this week that the average Americans family can no longer afford to buy new cars.

According to a report by Intrest.com, there is only one major city where the average household income is sufficient to buy a new car.

Bingo!

You guessed it: Washington, DC.

“According to the 2013 Car Affordability Study by Interest.com,” says CNBC via Yahoo Finance, “only in Washington could the typical household swing the payments, the median income there running $86,680 a year. At the other extreme, Tampa, Fla., was at the bottom of the 25 large cities included in the study, with a median household income of $43,832.”

Only the countries of Lichtenstein and Qatar enjoy higher per capita income than DC’s median income of $86,680 a year.

Thank goodness. All this time, I thought that the runaway federal spending was just fueling a sense of entitlement, privilege and contempt for us commoners amongst the people who run our government . . . “

Obama Says States Have No Right To Define Marraige

Once again ignoring the U.S. Constitution, Emperor Obama affirmed his position that Americans in states have no right to define marriage as between one man and one woman.

Remember when we used to expect our presidents to follow the U.S. Constitution and its 10^th Amendment:

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.”

In a historic argument for gay rights, President Barack Obama on Thursday urged the Supreme Court to overturn California’s same-sex marriage ban and turn a skeptical eye on similar prohibitions across the country.

The Obama administration’s friend-of-the-court brief marked the first time a U.S. president has urged the high court to expand the right of gays and lesbians to wed. The filing unequivocally calls on the justices to strike down California’s Proposition 8 ballot measure, although it stops short of the soaring rhetoric on marriage equality Obama expressed in his inaugural address in January.

California is one of eight states that give gay couples all the benefits of marriage through civil unions or domestic partnership, but don’t allow them to wed. The brief argues that in granting same-sex couples those rights, California has already acknowledged that gay relationships bear the same hallmarks as straight ones.

Happy Sequestration Day - End of the World Day

“This morning we all woke up and realized we are dead. At midnight we starved to death, the plugs on our ventilators were turned out, airplanes fell from the sky, the TSA stopped administering prostate exams, and the only good thing is children were born because Planned Parenthood had no money to abort them.

That's right, today is Sequestration Day and we're all dead, dying, out of federal money, or in burning houses without firefighters, teachers, and policemen to rescue us. The President said so. We have to believe him. Women and cowboy poetry hardest hit.

In all seriousness, for over a week the man has been campaigning with such hyperbole I've been expecting any day he'd claim sequestration would mean we all get E.D. (including the women) and the Mayan calender was only off by a couple of months. The hystrionics have been ridiculous.

Today the sun came up, you and I are alive and well, and the government, sadly, is still open for business. Today, some Americans will get paychecks and taxes will still have been taken out and sent to the IRS. We need to keep pointing that out. Oh, and Republicans are, today, working on a deal to ensure Obamacare gets fully funded.

The 800 Martyrs of Otranto to be canonized

Muslim massacre of 1480

On Monday, 11 February in Rome the canonization was announced of 800 Christians took place who suffered martyrdom in the 15th Century in Otranto. The elevation to the altars is to be made in the context of an ordinary consistory of the College of Cardinals which was convened by Pope Benedict XVI.

The canonization concerned Antonio Primaldo and his 800 companions. The Christian inhabitants of the town of Otranto in Apulia, in southern Italy were victims of a bloodbath by Ottoman troops during a raid on 29 July 1480. They killed more than 800 fishermen, craftsmen, farmers, merchants, peasants simply because of their faith.

Secretary Kerry's "Stupid " Defense of Religious Freedom

Secretary of State John Kerry was barely off the plane in Germany before he embarrassed himself-and all of us-with what is perhaps the worst defense of religious freedom ever offered. Kerry, the unsuccessful Democratic candidate for president in 2004, said the United States protects religious freedom because: "In America, you have right to be stupid."

Sec. Kerry's audience of German students laughed when he said that. He missed, of course, the perfect opportunity to share our deepest values with the rising generation that will have Europe 's future in their hands.

Instead of talking of "tolerance" and how we "tolerate" ideas we think are stupid, Kerry might have told the young Germans about George Washington's eloquent Letter to the Hebrew Congregation at Newport. In 1790, President Washington told those Jewish Americans-who had so loyally supported our country's bid for independence and freedom:
It is now no more that toleration is spoken of as if it were the indulgence of one class of people that another enjoyed the exercise of their inherent natural rights, for, happily, the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.

This was a world historical event. It was the first time in history that any national leader addressed the Jews as equal fellow citizens. Wouldn't Germany -with its tragic history-have been an excellent place to reiterate President Washington's deep beliefs?

Let us note well: President Washington says we do not speak of toleration. That's because he understood that religious freedom is not the gift of the government, of the governing elites, or even of the majority of voters. Religious freedom is the gift of God. It is the foundation of our inalienable right to liberty.
