Texas Rancher uses Rattlesnake Logic for Bombing at Boston

Now, the news media will spend days trying to determine why these men did what they did in Boston . They will want to know what America did to make these brothers so angry with us. They will want to know why these men were not arrested before they did something unlawful. The media will be in a tizzy about the new era of home grown radicals (jihadists) and about how they could live among us and still hate us.

Here in west Texas , I have rattlesnakes on my place. I have killed a rattlesnake on the front porch. I have killed a rattlesnake on the back porch. I have killed rattlesnakes in the barn, in the shop and on the driveway. I kill every rattlesnake I encounter. I kill rattlesnakes because a rattlesnake will bite me and inflict me with poison. I don’t stop to wonder why a rattlesnake will bite me. It will bite me because it is a rattlesnake and that is what rattlesnakes do. I don’t try to reason with a rattlesnake…I just kill it.

I don’t try to get to know the rattlesnake better so that I can find a way to live with the rattlesnakes and convince them not to bite me…I just kill them. I don’t quiz a rattlesnake to see it I can find out where the other snakes are because (a) it won’t tell me (b) I already know that they live on my place…I just kill the rattlesnake and move on to the next one. I don’t look for ways that I might be able to change the rattlesnake to a non-poisonous rat snake. I just kill it.

Oh, and on occasion, I kill a rat snake, because I thought it was a rattlesnake at the time. Also, I know that for every rattlesnake that I kill, two more lurk out there. In my lifetime, I will never be able to rid my place of rattlesnakes.  Do I fear them? No! Do I respect what they can do to me? Yes!  And, because of that respect, I give them their fair justice…I kill them.

Maybe as a country we should give more credit to the jihadist just being a rattlesnake!

Obama Expects States to Pick Up Obamacare Tab

Wow, who would have guessed that we were being lied to?

Obama Expects States to Pick Up Obamacare Tab

President Obama’s health care law was projected to spend $898 billion over ten years when it was passed. That price tag largely masked the true ten-year cost because of the delayed implementation of the law, and the CBO revised its cost estimate in 2013 to show that the law will spend $1.85 trillion in the next ten years.

Obamacare is already experiencing cost overruns, and the Obama Administration expects the states to pick up the tab.

One of Obamacare’s provisions, the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, has nearly run out of its $5 billion budget, and HHS Secretary Sebelius has proposed that the states that run the administration of the program find a way to pay for it themselves.

God Bless Kansas!

Last week, Obama’s  Attorney General Eric Holder sent a letter to Governor Sam Brownback informing the Governor that Kansas S.B. 102, The Second Amendment Protection Act, was unconstitutional. Here is a brief quote from the letter:
“In purporting to override federal law and to criminalize the official acts of federal officers, S.B. 102 directly conflicts with federal law and is therefore unconstitutional.”

Kris W. Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State, was quick to respond. Here is an excerpt from his official statement:
“On April 26, 2013, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder sent a letter to Kansas Governor Brownback concerning SB 102, the Second Amendment Protection Act. In that letter, Holder declares SB 102 to be unconstitutional and suggests that federal officials will disregard it. Holder’s understanding of the United States Constitution is incorrect.

As one of the co-authors of SB 102 and a former professor of constitutional law, I ensured that it was drafted to withstand any legal challenge. SB 102 states that a firearm that is assembled in Kansas, that is stamped “Made in Kansas,” and that never leaves the State of Kansas is not subject to regulation by the federal government. It was drafted with the intent to assert Kansas’s authority as a co-equal sovereign under the United States Constitution to regulate a matter that is outside Congress’s jurisdiction under the Interstate Commerce Clause of Article I, Section 8. It was also drafted to stave off unconstitutional legislation pending in Congress that not only infringes upon the Second Amendment rights of Kansas Citizens, but also exceeds Congress’s constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce.”

Worst Roommate Ever?

Roommates can be really annoying at times.

However, one guy took it to another level by relentlessly harassing his roommate as he tried to study for his finals at Navy. The video was uploaded to YouTube on Wednesday and is quickly spreading across the web.

Look, we can’t verify with certainty that the roommate studying for his finals isn’t in on the soon-to-be viral video, but it’s entertaining to watch regardless. Let’s hope that the Internet still has some decency and the video is 100 percent real.

Watch “the worst roommate ever,” as the Huffington Post describes him, below:

The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide

Allyn Root was interviewed on the Coffee and Markets podcast today.  This is some of what he had to say about his new book . . .

Here are 4 of 18 steps you must take now:

1.     Move out of states that have income taxes to states with no state income taxes such as Nevada, Texas.   You will save a fortune each year by not paying the outrageous taxes in California, New York, New Jersey, and other states that continue to raise taxes on their residents.

2.     If you are wealthy, consider moving to another country and renouncing your US citizenship.

3.     Buy gold which protects against the hyper-inflation that the US will experience over the next years.

4.     Get a large portion of your money out of US stocks and invest in ETFs that invest in these countries: China, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Brazil, and Switzerland.   The stocks in those countries will do much better than US stocks.    The US market will have a dramatic drop down to depression levels soon, and your money in US stocks will be devastated.   Use ETFs to invest in specific countries.

Own medical stocks and medical buildings.
Buy a farm and grow food as there will be food shortages.

Will the US economy collapse?   Maybe not, but there will be a long-term decline because of what Obama is doing to the economy with billions of dollars printed monthly and the hyper-inflation that will result.   Obama is counting on economic collapse and being able to leverage that fear to convince people to keep Democrats in office in a belief that government will take care of them with government programs when most people are out of a job in a depression economy.

The USA will be devastated sometime in 2014 due to the economy and government programs such as Obamacare.

In the November 2014 mid-term elections, Republicans will keep the US House and take the US Senate as a reaction to Obama’s policies.   A Republican will be elected president in 2016.  However, there will be tremendous turmoil and shortages before that happens.
